Once the clouds gave way to sun we headed outside for some fun in the sun. Our backyard is a muddy mess, but that didn't keep us from enjoying the pool. 
The boys rescued some frogs from the skimmer basket. They really get a kick out of seeing whats in the skimmer basket each day. It is usually frogs, lizards, and various bugs. Occasionally there will be a mouse. Country life is fun. 
When we got home from church tonight, John battled the yellow jackets. A couple of nights ago he poured boiling soapy water on the first nest. Since we have not seen any activity around that nest, we believe it took care of the problem. Tonight he poured it on the ones that attacked him while he was mowing. Victory is sweet.
